Explanation:

tana=x/y

sina/cosa=x/y

ysina=xcosa

sina=x/y cosa

Now,

xsina+ycosa

x*x/ycosa+ycosa

(x^2cosa+y^2cosa)/y

cosa(x^2+y^2)/y answer
