What does it mean to say early Earth was abiotic? someone plz help​

abiotic basically means NON LIVING (like water,soil, air)

so.. earlier like thousands of years back there was no life on earth thus it is said that earth was abiotic

but later on biosphere arrived through maybe cynobacteria...
