A cyclist rides her bike at a speed of 9 kilometers per hour. What is this speed in kilometers per minute? How many kilometers will the cyclist travel in 10 minutes? Do not round your answers.

per minute: 0.15 km

in 10 minutes: 1.5

Explanation:

there are 60 minutes in an hour. we need to find the constant rate of change (is that the name sorry). so 9/60 is 0.15. now we know she goes 0.15 km per minute. then do 10 times 0.15 since 10 minutes. you get 1.5. now we know.
