PLEASE HELP!

I have history vocabulary and one of the words are Puritan, here’s the definition: English Protestants that wanted to purify the church of England.

Can you please write 1 meaningful sentence using the word Puritan?

I just can’t come up with one that makes sense...

1. Roman Catholic and PURITANS alike wished for a modification of the laws which bore hardly on them.

2. The PURITANS were invited to a conference with the king at Hampton Court ( 1604)
