Hey sorry to bother but i need this done as fast as possible. "Solve the system without graphing. Explain in steps. 3x=8+y, 4x-3y=1

Let x = 0
3(0)-8 = y
y= -8

Isolate x
4x-3y=1
4x=1+3y
Let y= 0
4x = 1+ 3(0)
4x= 1
Divide both sides by 4
x= 1/4
