What conditions gave rise to the Great Depression and how did the New Deal attempt to

end it? Give examples.

The conditions of deficit spending progressed the Great Depression. The New Deal was an attempt made by President FDR to overcome what seemed like a helpless situation. An example of this is FDR’s new programs and projects created to give more jobs to the public. More jobs means more income, and generally a healthier economy.
