Answer:

The role of children in industrial factories were quite unfavorable. They had to crawl into and under machinery because they were the only ones small enough to fit into the small spaces. They were younger which meant they could be paid less. Along with the fact that they were less likely to go against the work conditions or go on an organized strike.
