When I read about the windmills, I felt that I could make a difference for my family and free them from the sad and suffering life they were going through. I went further, and considered freeing my entire community, because that was what the mill would represent for us, freedom, in addition to electricity, since we would be free from hunger, thirst and the factors that prevent us from having life to the full.

I ran home and explained to my country how it was possible to create a windmill with what we already have and that would bring us many benefits. I didn't feel their approval, but a strong disbelief, which gave me more willpower to research and make my idea possible. I ignored hunger and difficulties, I studied a lot and using sucara, those of an old tractor and half of a bicycle I managed to create a windmill, which, although it seems rudimentary, worked perfectly.
