Larry has an account with amazon movies that costs him $75 per year to be a member of. He can rent movies for $3 each. He wants to keep under $300 per year. Solve the inequality that represents his situation for how many movies he can rent.

The equation you would use to solve would be

300=75+3x

x= the amount of movies he watches

meaning x= 75

300=75+3x

225=3x

x=75

he can rent up to 75 movies
