Explanation: I think that B. would be the answer because in ancient civilizations, everything they did was their way of pleasing the gods. For example, they would make lots of sacrifices, build temples to honor the gods and, pray multiple times throughout the day. In Ancient Mesopotamia, Priests would take care of statues almost like dolls, they would feed them, bathe them, put clothes on them, and put and makeup on them. Almost, if not all, of the activities they participated in had something to do with pleasing the gods.
