There are many factors in which finding a time to take care of this chore would come in handy. For example, you need to think about your time and schedule as well as everyone else's. In my experience, it is good to have a designated time each week to go to the grocery store. I always go on Sunday afternoons and stock up on essentials for the week. While it is not bad to go mutiple times a week, it is more effeicient to have the plan of just going once to get everything rather than wasting time going 3 or 4 times a week. Always make sure you have a budget, because it is easy to get carried away and buy things you can't afford or simply don't need. If you are living with your family or roomates perhaps, it is always kind to see to their needs as well.
