$4 per sandwich
$27 - $3 for the kids meal leaves $24
$24 divided by the number of sandwiches ( 24/6) leaves how much is spent per sandwich
24/6= $4.

He can spend 4 dollars on each sandwich cause 27-3(the kids meal) =24 24 divided by 6=4. 4 being the amount per sandwich!
