Solve these two linear equations

Multiply eqn 1 by 3 and eqn 2 by 2

6t + 9c = 6000 -----------3

6t + 4c = 5000------------4

Subtract Eqn 4 from 3

5c = 1000

c = 200

Substitute the value of c in eqn 1

2t + 3*200 = 2000

2t + 600 = 2000

2t = 1400

t = 700

The cost of a table is Rs 700 and Cost of 5 chairs = 5 * 200 = Rs 1000. "
