People can create words by performing famous deeds. An example of a famous deed creating a word is the word pasteurize. The word means the process of heating raw milk to kill germs. This process was discovered by Louis Pasteur. All milk that is safe to drink has been pasteurized. Mr. Pasteur invented a safe way to prepare milk and, in the process, invented a new word.
