contains 24,000 tons of waste and it takes him 2 years to clean up /4 of the waste, how much waste would Wall-E have cleaned up
after cleaning for 4 years? (you MUST explain your answer)

If I understand you correctly he cleans 4 tons every 2 years well 4 is double 2 so in 4 years he would have cleaned up 8 tons. They are trying to trick you with the larger number it has nothing to do with that big number.
