What do unit pricing and unit rate have in common?

Answer :When rates are expressed as a quantity of 1, such as 2 feet per second or 5 miles per hour, they are called unit rates. When prices are expressed as a quantity of 1, such as $25 per ticket or $0.89 per can, they are called unit prices.
