So if the width is x ft

Length = 2x + 10

Mathematically, the perimeter of a rectangle i s 2(l + b)

So;

2(x + 2x + 10) = 170

2(3x + 10) = 170

3x + 10 = 85

3x = 85-10

3x = 75

x = 75/3

x = 25 ft

length is;

2(25) + 10 = 50 + 10 = 60 ft
