The founder of LON was Woodrow Wilson.

It was founded in January 10, 1920 but ceased in April 20, 1946.

"The Council was a coalition of the four permanent members: France, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Germany joined in 1926, but left in 1935. In September 1934, the Soviet Union entered the League of Nations.
