How did opportunities change for women in the work place

Answer: During WWI, there were few men at home to work, so women took their places, and and many have been in the workforce ever since. The womens liberation movement allowed them to have certain jobs that were always worked by men such as cops, firefighters, and other ones that are considered strenuous.
