let's arrange the set of numbers above in ascending order

10, 10, 20, 30, 30, 40 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 110

since there are 12 digits in total, count out five digits starting from extreme left and also count out five digits starting from extreme right.

the two numbers left in the middle are 40 and 50.

median 40+50/2 = 90/2= 45
