The temperature of a mixture was 12°Celsius at the start of the experiment. After four hours the temperature decreased 25°. What is the current temperature of the mixture?

12 - 25 is equal to -13.

Just think of it as 25 minus 12. This gives you 13. Then put a negative sign in front of it.
