In your own words explain what valuing diversity means.

this question came from a research paper i had to read titled “tolerance as civility”

Answer:

Personally I think valuing diversity is allowing another person to explain their culture, their beliefs, and their history. I believe that when somebody says "i don't see color" i don't think they would mean it in a disrespectful way, but that's how some people take it because them saying that is disregarding everything the other persons race has gone through. It disregards what they're fighting for, which in most cases is rights. So I think valuing diversity is kind of like allowing other people to explain their history, beliefs, and culture.
