You've been admitted to the hospital with a horrible illness. The doctor orders the nurse to give you IV fluids, then leaves the room. You overhear the nurse tell the supervisor that the hospital has no supply of fluids left. The supervisor tells the nurse to just fill an IV bag with tap water since you are just needing to be re-hydrated. Tell me what you do. Do you allow the nurse to re-hydrate you, why or why not?

Answer:

Yes, if you are there for being re-hydrated then it should be fine. If you weren't there to be hydrated then I would not take it. In my opinion it really depends on the situatutiaon you are there for. Like I said if you are there for hydration take it! Water can't really harm you/

Step-by-step explanation:

Even if there was an answer I thought I should put mine just cause.

You shouldn't allow yourself to be re-hydrates in this way because it is incredibly unsafe. Tap and bottled water can carry bacteria which can cause severe infections to get into the bloodstream.
