1.) 4.5 billion yrs ago from a dense cloud of interstellar gas and dust.
2.) the cloud collar, possibly due to shock wave of a near by exploding star called a super nova.
3.) when this dust cloud collapsed, it formed a solar nebula- a spinning, swirling disk of matter.
