Why do adolescents share more of their problems to their friends than their family?

Answer:

I believe this is due to the fact that either the problem is about the family or the adolescent believes that their family has a bias opinion and or they will receive punishment for bringing it up.

Hope this helps! :)

Answer:

mostly because we fear that the family would judge us or telll us what to do.. even though that might be the safe thing to do but we feel that our friends would understand us. we just also need someone to talk to
