Answer:

DC stands for direct current. AC stands for alternating current. DC voltage values do not change(+,-). AC does with respect to frequency and time. AC voltage and current have a peak, rms(effective, DC equivalent), peak to peak, and average. AC voltage, current, capacitors, and inductors are expressed with imaginary numbers or angles. All relationships like ohm's law, KVL, KCL, etc. applies to both.
