What does the author mean when they say, "it is important to examine religion objectively in its social and cultural context."? Why is this important?

Answer:

Religion should always be studied in a subjective way as religion is nothing but the guidelines and rules for the ways in which humans should live their life. Religion was created by gods to make the world better for humans by themselves.

Thus, one can say that religion is a subjective matter but when thought deeply it can be directly applied into real world in a very practical manner.
