Answer: 76%

Explanation:

In the first square, all 25 parts are shaded.

In another sqaure, 13 out of 25 qual parts are shaded.

Now, in both the squares

Total parts = 25+25 =50

Total shaded parts = 25+13 = 38

The percent of shaded area =
\frac{\text{Total shaded parts}}{\text{Total parts}}*100\%


=(38)/(50)*100\%\\\\= 76\%

Hence, 76% is represented by the shaded area.
