Question:

It is easy to distinguish between
education and propaganda. The
former aims at independence of
judgiñent the latter supplies ready-
made judgments for the unthinking.
Education is a slow process of
development, but propaganda aims
at quick responses. One strives to
produce individual responsibility and
an open mind while the other, using
mass effects, strives to produce a
closed one.
