How is the rpe scale used to adjust workout intensity during physical activity?.

Answer:

the RPE (rate of perceived exertion) scale is based on a range of 6-20. where 6 represents very low intensity and 20 is the highest intensity/ amount of exertion.

you can think of it kind of like the pain scale chart doctors show you, but RPE is a scale for how hard you are working/ exercising essentially.
