`2w^2 -6w - 5w +15=55`

`2w^2 - 11w =40`

upon factorizing this equation it will be

`2w^2 - 11w-40=0`

`2w^2 - 16w+5w -40=0`

2w(w-8)+5(w-8)=0

(2w+5 )(w-8)=0

w= -5/2 or 8

b) (2w-3)(w-5) = 55

`2w^2 -10w-3w+15=55`

`2w^2 -13w= 40`

`2w^2 -13w -40=0`
