Radar- Electronics. a device for determining the presence and location of an object by measuring the time for the echo of a radio wave to return from it and the direction from which it returns.

Isotherm-Meteorology. a line on a weather map or chart connecting points having equal temperature.

Isoline-a line on a map or chart along which there is a constant value (as of temperature or rainfall)

Isobar- an imaginary line or a line on a map or chart connecting or marking places of equal barometric pressure.

Automated-the technique of making an apparatus, a process, or a system operate automatically.
