In May, a cashier worked 50.25 hours and earned $8.60 per hour. The following June, she worked the same number of hours but got a a raise and earned $9.20 per hour that month. Select the expression(s) that you can use to find how much more the cashier was paid in June than in May. Then find this amount.

Answer:

50.25(9.20−8.60)

50.25×9.20−50.25×8.60

This shows the amount of hours and the amount earned in may.

Explanation:

50.25(9.20−8.60)

50.25(0.6) = 30.15

50.25×9.20−50.25×8.60

50.25×9.20= 462.3

50.25×8.60 = 432.15

462.3 - 432.15 = 30.15
