How did the US influenced japans treatment of women

In the early years of WW2, Japanese women were relegated to various volunteer associations, which did not involve direct factory work. However by 1943, the loss of men required that able women work in factories. Japanse women got the right to vote when Japan’s General Election Law was revised on December 17, 1945
