= 374

You can check this method works by using your calculator, and multiplying 22 by 17 to get 374 again!

Then just add like you would if when you distribute.

Remember FOIL (First, Outer, Inner, Last)

when multiplying two binomials(2 terms) or distributing factors with two terms.
