The cylinder holds 3 times more water than the cone

volume of the cylinder is (pi) (r^2) (height), volume of the cone is (1/3)(pi)(r^2)(height)

Cone is 1/3 of cylinder volume so cylinder holds 3 times the amount

Cylinder holds 942 cu units, cone holds 314,

Answer cylinder holds 628 cu units more than cone

cyl= 3.14 x 5^2 x 12=942

Cone= 1/3 x 3.14 x 5^2 x 12 = 314
