When you’re in a tough conversation with someone close to you, how is it helpful for you to think about the beliefs behind your emotional responses?

Your emotional thoughts and logical thoughts are not the same. it’s important to be able to navigate through those thoughts. you feel like this way but logically you know it’s this. when you let your emotions control your logic you can say things that are based souly of your initial thoughts.
