HELP PLEASE GOD I HAVE A DAY HELP!!!!) A daycare employee earns $10.90 per hour for the first 40 hours he works in 1 week. He is paid 1.5 times that rate for each additional hour that he works. How much money does he earn working for 43 hours in 1 week?

Answer:

$485.05 per week of 43 hours labor

Explanation:

First of all, we already know that he works the first 40 hours, so:

$10.90*40= $436

Now it says the next three hours are 1.5* the original pay;

$10.90*1.5= $16.32 (x 3 because thats the extra hours)

$16.32*3 = $49.05

Now, we add the numbers:

$436+$49.05= $485.05

All done!
