The perimeter of a rectangular pool is 48 feet. Its length is 4 feet more than its width.

Explanation:

perimeter = 2* ( length + width)

Length = 4 + Width = 4+x

Equation is,

2* (4+x+x) = 48

2* (4+2x) = 48

4+2x = 48/2 = 24

4+2x=24

2x = 24-4 = 20

2x = 20

x = 10
