what is a pre writing

i know what it is but i write the revision first trying to write the pre writing any tips

For prewriting..

1. Be sure to know what you're working on, you don't want to spend 30 minutes on a paragraph that isnt related to the assignment
2. Make rough-drafts so then you can edit it later//make a better paragraph
3. Make it more clear so you can use it for your actual writing (so you wont get confused)
4. After you've finished your pre-writing, (or you could call it a rough-draft) then you can write your real paragraph/essay. Horray!!!
