i think people identify themselves as feminists to prove to everyone that women are equal to men. this can make you feel empowered because we like knowing we’re doing good in this world and proving men that were just as good as them.

People identify themselves as femanists because they are sticking up for women's rights. Calling yourself this may make you feel empowered because it shows that women are the same as men. Anything men can do, women can too.
