At a magazine company, employees are given a score based on subscription renewals. An employee receives 3 points for each customer that renews a subscription and receives -2 points for each customer not renewing a subscription. In the course of an hour, an employee has 4 customers that renew subscriptions and 7 customers that do not renew subscriptions. What score would the employee be given at the end of the hour?

Answer:

The employee will be given a -2

Explanation:

Given that the employee has 4 customers that renewed their subscription

the points earned will be

4*3= 12 points

also the same employee has 7 customer that did not want to renew their subscription, hence the employee will lose

7*-2=-14 points

at the end of the hour the employees point will be

=12+(-14)

=12-14

=-2

This means that the employee's is -2 short of points
