We know he did arrive and died in perfection in exchange of the perfect life adam lost in the garden of eden. If fact we don't have to celebrate passover anymore due to God's order a long time ago. A lot of people still celebrate it though but the blood sacrifice of an animal is not important and neither is passover nowadays.
