true or false: plants release energy as ATP during cell respiration and use it for maintenance and growth ​

I think the answer is false because if I’m correct, I don’t think they use it for maintenance and growth. I think they use some of the energy to make ATP in the mitochondria.

I THINK, I’m not sure though, sorry! I would wait for a second opinion lol.
