a coast line can also be known as a seashore. this can also be defined as where the land meets the sea and/ or the ocean. This can also be the line that forms the boundary splitting the land and the ocean or even the lake.
An example could also be the beach. The edge of the land that meets the ocean, sea, gulf, bay or a large lake as well.
