Explanation: Cells divide for many reasons. They may divide for growth, death, or to replace something. The cells divide when growth is happening, to allow to produce more cells. For example: When a tree grows taller the cells divide so they can produce more cells. The places in trees where these cell divisions happen, are called “Meristems”. This is where all the activity happens.
