Renewable energy is better for the environment because it doesn't release harmful toxins into the atmosphere, so it doesn't contribute to global warming. Nonrenewable energy sources release toxins into the air and they also are really bad for our lungs. Renewable and nonrenewable energy both come from our planets natural resources but some have a bigger impact on the environment.
