To those outside the fashion world, a fashion model's lifestyle may seem exciting. Today's top models travel the
world and work highly profitable assignments. However, many more models today are overworked, underfed,
and unrepresented. They also have little job security. Now, one woman is trying to change that. In 2011, model
Sara Ziff started the Model Alliance. The group works to provide fair conditions and labor standards for fashion
workers. In particular, the group is concentrating on child labor laws for models under 18.
