Answer:

If the numerator of a fraction is greater than or equal to its denominator, then the fraction is an improper fractio. That is the fraction a/b is called improper if a ≥ b.

Example : 1/1, 2/1, 5/1, 4/3, 6/4, 9/5, 7/7, ...etc
