What is the slope of the line that contains the point (-3,4) and (-1,8)?

formula of a slope of a line when 2 points are given:

delta y/ delta x= slope -> y2-y1 / x2-x1= slope so:

8-4 / -1 +3

= 4/ 2

= 1/2
